Vetri-Science Glyco-Flex II and Vetri-Science Glyco-Flex III are supplements for dogs that have a moderate to maximum need for support of joints and connective tissues. Glyco-flex is a great support supplement for dogs that are healing from sprains, joint injuries, and joint-related surgery. From the makers of Glycoflex 600, each formulation contains glucosamine for dogs, a proven joint health supporter, the antioxidant Dimethylglycine (DMG,) and an extract of perna mussel.
Glucosamine for Dogs
In addition to canine glucosamine and these other powerful joint supporting ingredients, Glycoflex 2 also contains additional ingredients for improved effectiveness. These ingredients include methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) which is known to aid in recovery from orthopedic surgery, and manganese to further support your dog’s joints. It is especially suited to both working and sporting breeds that have experienced increased stress on their joints and connective tissues over their lives due to their high levels of activity, and it can be used to aid in recovery after orthopedic surgery.
Glyco-Flex Stage II Soft Chews
Glyco-Flex III is for those dogs with the greatest need of joint and connective tissue support, and is part of Verti-Science’s STAGE 3, RESTORE program. These include older dogs as well as retired working dogs and retired sporting dogs. Like Glycoflex II, Glycoflex III can be used to aid in recovery from orthopedic surgery. Dogs with arthritis who are taking NSAIDS can safely add Glyco-flex III to their routine.
Soft Chews
Glycoflex 2 is available in three sizes: 90, 180, and 360 tablets, and Glycoflex 3 is available in three sizes: 120, 240, and 360 soft chews. The proper dosage is determined by your dog’s weight. For dogs up to 30 pounds give ½ tablet per day, 31-60 pounds 1 tablet per day, 61-100 pounds 2 tablets per day, and 101 and above 2 ½ tablets per day for the first four to six weeks. Thereafter, maintenance dosages vary by size and product. Vetri-Science Glyco-Flex II and III tablets are chewable for ease of administration. They are also smoke flavored and contain chicken liver flavoring to ensure that your dog will love the taste.
